Members of the Nigerian Association Of Zoological Gardens & Wildlife Parks (NAZAP) are now ready to hold their annual general meeting in Abuja. The precise venue is the Veterinary Council Hall in Abuja, in the Federal Capital Territory.
In a special release signed and made available to PMParrot by the Assistant Secretary of the association, Prince Sakiru Raji over the weekend, NAZAP will also use the opportunity to train and elect new executives for the association.
The statement read further “Also in fulfillment of the decisions of the Executive Council meeting in March 2018 in Abuja to conduct elections at the expiration of its 3-year tenure and ratified at the last Governing Council meeting held at the Yankari Games Reserve in August 2018, I wish to inform you that Expression of Interest form is available from the Electoral Committee comprising of Mr Mike lyoha, Prince Abiola Kosoko and headed by Engr Habu Mamman of Yankari Games Reserve.
“The programme will start on October 26, 2018 with Zookeepers/Managers’ Training. On October 27, we will hold our AGM and election. On October 28, we will conclude with a visit to the hom of Late Timothy Nyam.”
