2019: NAMMBO Seeks Support For Buhari’s Re Election

The re-election bid of President Muhammadu Buhari has received a very big boost with the clarion call made by one of his support groups, the National Movement For Muhammadu Buhari-Osinbajo (NAMMBO) on all Nigerians to join the movement.

NAMMBO had its National Executive Council meeting in Abuja some days ago with the Chairmen and Secretaries from the 36 States of the Federation and the FCT Abuja in attendance.

The movement that boasts over three million executive members nationwide has been in existence since 2015. It was formed to identify with and support the ambition of President Muhammadu Buhari based on his integrity and what he has been able to achieve within four years as the President of Nigeria.

NAMMBO believes that a good turn deserves another, while calling all members to put their hands on deck to ensure that the President returns to office in 2019.

The National Chairman of the Movement Hon. Junaidu Idrisa Kadi stated this in Abuja at a round table.

According to him the decision to support president Buhari was due to his commitment in the fight against corruption infrastructural development as well as improvement in the nation’s economy.

The group also promised to be in support of good governance not only at the Federal level but also in States and Local Governments beyond 2019.

According to the National Vice Chairman North West of the Movement His Excellency, Yusuf Sani Maitama, the presence of young and dynamic individuals in the group reveals the strength and capacity of the Movement to produce the next generation of leaders that the country can be proud of.

NAMMBO tasked its members on personal integrity, in a statement made by the Group’s women leader, Hon. Lynda Bamu Alhamdu, a former Commisioner of Agric in Plateau State opined that to be on the same page with the President and the aims of the group, it’s necessary for members to also make integrity their watchword, promising that the group will not condone any act of misconduct and indiscipline.

Hon. Yusuff Ibrahim, NAMMBO’s Vice Chairman  in the North Central claimed President Buhari is the best thing that has happened to Nigeria as he called on members of the group to support him because of the future generation.

The National Publicity Secretary Mallam Suleiman Umar  said the group is campaigning on issue based and called on APC members to defend their votes to avoid manipulation by opposition parties.

The National Organising Secretary, Hon. Moshood Olatunji stressed that the movement is a platform to introduce new aspirants and evolve a paradigm shift in the political firmament of our nation.

Speaking on behalf of States chairmen, Kogi  state Chairman NAMMBO, Alhaji Isiaka Kokori mentained that the campaign for the re-election of President Buhari had become necessary to all Nigerians irrespective of political, religious, or regional differences considering the  good record of his administration.

Alhaji also assured the people of Kogi State to vote for president Buhari for second term for the completion of Ajaokuta steel to ensure job creation in the State.

In his closing remarks while congratulating all members of the group for being counted worthy to be part of history, the National Financial Secretary of the group and a recent gubernatorial aspirant in Oyo State, Ayodeji Ismail Karim hinted that the group is well structured and well mobilized to bring success to President Buhari in the elections.

Karim stresed the need for the group to be mindful of the future of the unborn Nigerians which could be affected by the role They had all decided to conclusively played.

He also promised that he would use his influence to ensure that the group lacks nothing when it comes to funding.

The meeting which held at the Arcade Suites CBD, Abuja had in attendance prominent members like Seriki Abdulai, Ibrahim Umar, Junaidu Idrisa Kadi, Umar Abdulai, Walid Ibrahim, Chief Oluwaseun Ojuolape, Akinleye Olu-Philips, Moshood Olatunji, Kenneth Okechukwu, Yusuf Ibrahim, Blessing Sylva, Isiaka Kokori Abdulai, Issa Onilu, Ayo Karim and other executives of the group.
