Kids from Kayrom Lee Swimming Academy gave good accounts of themselves by sweeping medals at the Prof. Falaye Swimming Competition, held over the weekend inside the swimming pool of the University of Ibadan.
The annual swimming tournament was designed according to the organisers to discover and reawakening swimming sport within the university community with many talents discovered from the previous events now capable of representing the institution, state and the country.
Kids from Kayrom Lee, a principal partner to the Federal Ministry of Youths and Sports on grassroots development amassed nine gold, six silver and three bronze medals from the tourney.
More than ten swimming clubs and academies from Ibadan and its environs participated in the swimming tournament where medals and prizes were presented to winners at the various categories.
The proprietress of Kayrom Lee firm, Amb. Romoke Ayinde in her remarks commended the organisers of the event for providing platform for the kids to evaluate what themselves in a competitive stage.
The soft spoken multilingual, however, described the feat achieved by her kids as a reflection of dedication, constant training and hard work of the trainers that are handling the Kayrom Lee Swimming Academy kids.
