Osun State’s controversial monarch, the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi has been ‘praying’ for his critics who opposed his decision to divorce his wife, Chanel Chin.
The monarch said that his fervent prayer is that “God should provide that kind of wife for all those who opposed my decision to divorce her. May God give them that kind of wife who will be recording everything they do in their home.”
Oba Akanbi expressed his feelings while playing host to a full-complement of outside broadcasting team of Space 90.1fm which stormed the exquisite palace of the monarch in Iwo Town on Wednesday to conduct a live interview with him.
The monarch told the team of broadcasters led by Olutola Kuti that “I have no regret divorcing her. I am only worried about those criticizing me on and offline. I will continue to pray for them and wish them what they are wishing me.
“I thank God that she is finally out of my life. I survived her. Those judging me, those talking against me do not know what they are doing. May they inherit that kind of wife.”
The live radio interview which lasted over three hours was broadcast also on Facebook, Instagram and on Youtube. It was equally covered by PMParrot’s Olayinka Agboola.
