In order to appreciate and give back to the society and specially maximize business benefits from their corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, a firm, Albarika Mega has commenced sports quiz promo in major popular sports programs on FM radio stations in Ibadan.

Albarika Mega that is into sales of phones and gadgets, owned by a former footballer, Oladayo Hammed popularly known as Gullit has given out cash prizes and exciting gift items worth millions of naira to many sport lovers via sports quiz aired on radio stations.

Some of the beneficiaries of the Albarika Football Promo were full of praises for the CEO of the firm after redeeming the cash prizes and android phones won after answering correctly questions asked on a Yoruba Sports program aired on Splash FM Ibadan.

Dotun Ajibola in his remark after winning an android phone worth more than forty thousand naira said he predicted correctly the outcome of UEFA Champions League matches played last week while contributing to a sports program on radio while also thanking the firm for being magnanimous and sincere with the promo.

“I’m so happy winning this prize because some will promise like that and they will not be sincere and transparent at the end of the day, this firm gave me exactly the value of the prize mentioned, may God continue to enrich the company”, Ajibola a businessman noted.

Another beneficiary who is an HND student of the Polytechnic, Ibadan, Timileyin Idowu in his remark thanked the firm for providing such platform on radio saying his passion for listening to football news is actually yielding fruits.

Speaking with newsmen, Oladayo, Albarika Mega boss said the promo was introduced to commemorate the opening of another outlet at the challenge area of Ibadan and to further appreciate the Nigerian youths who formed a larger percentage of his customers using football that is considered most popular among youths.

“Apart from engaging in corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, we want to continue to promote a spirit of competition among the youths, as well as fans and listeners of these Yoruba sports programmes on our radios here in Ibadan”, Gullit who is a member of the Nigerian Supporters Club noted.
