Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, member, House of Representatives, has commended the members of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Oluyole Local Government who conducted themselves peacefully during the just concluded Congress of the party.
The Oluyole Federal Constituency Representative thanked all the participants from all the wards in her constituency for their tenacity to maintain peace in spite of provocation.
Hon. Tolu Akande-Sadipe, however, berated the troublesome nature of some elements who tried to cause trouble during the congress.
“In spite of the elements who tried to foment trouble, we thank God no lives were lost during the APC party congress in Oluyole”, she said.
“As per eye witness accounts, in some wards some troublesome elements, whose popularity has waned over time, came with an ulterior motive, brandishing guns, in an attempt to disrupt and kill, but all glory to God, their attempt to cause unforetold mayhem failed”, she said gleefully.
APC Congresses were held across the nation on Saturday and this will usher in new ward excos across the country.
