A gas explosion has occurred along NTA Operation Burst Road, just before the University College Hospital (UCH) area of Ibadan in Oyo State.
The Nation learnt that the explosion began around 9pm.
In the video seen by The Nation, many buildings went up in flames.
A local radio outlet – 32fm949 Ibadan confirmed the incident.
It said: “There’s a gas explosion around NTA operation burst road before UCH, Ibadan. Please if you are driving through that route tonight, seek an alternative route!”
As at the time of filing this report, no causality has been reported.
