14th Biennial Police Games: Force Headquarters Ahead Of Others As Event Ends On Saturday

The ongoing 14th Biennial Police Games, tagged ‘Oluyole 2024’, will officially come to an end on Saturday with Force Headquarters (FHQ) team, Abuja leading in the medals table with 93 medals.

According to the medals table made available by the organisers of the game, the Force HQ is leading with a total of 43 gold, 21 Silver and 29 bronze while Zone 2 is currently in 2nd place with 39 gold, 20 silver and 33 bronze.

Zone 11 sits in the 3rd place with 23 gold, 25 silver and 28 bronze while Zone 9 sits in 4th place with 12 gold, 13 silver and 12 bronze medals.

In the bottom of the medal table, Zone 3 are in 18th position with only 1 silver, Zone 15 is in the 17th position with 2 silver and 6 bronze while by Zone 10 is in the 16th position with 3 silver and 3 bronze.

However, information from the Games organisers indicates that some results are expected to arrive later before the close of the Games.

The sporting event tagged “competing for peace, unity, stability and development of Nigeria’, which started on March 2 in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital will conclude with a closing ceremony on Saturday with dignitaries from all walks of life expected to grace the occasion.
