Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State is scheduled to deliver keynote address at the 2025 EDGE Awards on September 26, at Balmora Sheraton Event Centre, Ikeja, Lagos State.
They said Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu played the same role in 2021 when he spoke on: ‘Rethinking the Blue Ocean Strategy in Uncertain Times’. He also received the Outstanding Political Brand Icon of the Year Award.
Governor Oyebanji, who will speak on core areas of collaboration between the players in the public and private sectors, will also use the platform to present Ekiti as a destination by playing up her potentials in tourism, agriculture, education and other areas.
Besides Governor Oyebanji, top marketing communications players and brand owners, including Director General, Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), Dr. Lekan Fadolapo, the Troyka Chairman, Dr. Biodun Shobanjo, a former Managing Director of Guinness, Otunba Seeni Adetu, former APCON Chairman, Udeme Ufot and others are also billed to attend the event.
The EDGE Awards, now in its 13th edition, is renowned for celebrating innovation and excellence within the marketing and advertising landscape. With the new farm settlements initiative, Governor Oyebanji has been encouraging back to farm culture among youths by building hostels and key infrastructures in farm settlements, to make life easy and abundant for the Gen Z farmers being nurtured by the state.
