Renowned Veteran Journalist, Clement Ige, Dies At 68

The Nigerian media community has been thrown into mourning following the death of Mr. Clement Ige, a veteran journalist, editor, and media executive whose career left a lasting imprint on modern Nigerian journalism.

Ige, who worked with The Guardian Newspapers, Nigerian Tribune, and others, was 68 years old.

The veteran journalist, whose company, CeeDee Resources, packaged ParrotXtra Media Network’s 20th anniversary last year, died yesterday (29 of April) at his residence in Soka, Felele extension, Ibadan.

According to PMParrot’s source, the seasoned media professional, particularly known for his association with music legend King Sunny Ade, has been so traumatized since the death of his wife, Princess Ige, who passed away last year.

The renowned journalist is survived by children and grandchildren.
