The youngest Ibadanman to become a Mogaji, Chief Oluwateniola Adegbola from Arogundade family has joined others to congratulate the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Senator) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja on the occasion of his coronation by Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State.
Chief Adegbola who was installed as Mogaji of Arogundade family in February, 2018 when he was barely 20 years of age also congratulated all the people of Ibadan saying “I believe our father, Oba Ladoja is the Messiah sent by God to make our dream of having Ibadan State come to pass”.
Teniola, a graduate of Business Economics from the University of Warrick, Coventry, United Kingdom gave his submission while speaking with ParrotXtra Magazine exclusively from his base in the United Kingdom recently.
The youthful Ibadan Mogaji further buttressed his belief in the abilities of Oba Ladoja to ‘make things happen’.
“You see, I knew that Oba Ladoja was not like all of us. He had this different air around him when he met me and prayed for me on the day of my installation as Mogaji in 2018. He told me that he was happy that I was coming in as very young person adding that he was expecting others to emulate my parents, Mr and Mrs Sola Adegbola – of course, I know others have been doing this”.
Teniola spoke further, “nobody will dispute the fact that our father, Oba Ladoja has the clout to make our dreams come true in Ibadan. He is globally connected because of the level of success he has attained as an international businessman. In addition to this, he has been a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, he has been a governor and he is a very popular Nigerian statesman.
“I will quickly add here to further endorse my earlier submission that he is a Messiah – His Imperial Majesty is a man that God loves so much. Check out the history of how he became the Olubadan. Added to all these points is the fact that he is blessed with sound health at his age. Blessed he is!”
Chief Teniola used the opportunity to pledge his loyalty to the new Olubadan saying “On behalf of my wonderful people at Arogundade Family, Ita Ege Agbongbon, Ibadan, we will do our very best to support our Father. We pray God to continue to grant him sound health, more wisdom and understanding in his quest to take Ibadan to the greatest heights”.
Chief Solomon Oluwatenilola Adegbola was installed Mogaji by late Oba Saliu Adetunji in February, 2018.
