In recognition of its outstanding performance and contributions to the state, the Oyo State Government has named the Oyo State Health Insurance Agency (OYSHIA) the Most Outstanding Agency of the Year 2024.
OYSHIA is a state government agency established to provide affordable and quality healthcare access for all residents, protecting them from high medical costs through mandatory health insurance schemes.
The agency offers financial risk protection and easy access to healthcare services, with plans starting from about N1,520 per month.
The award was presented during the 2025 Public Service Week and 2024 Merit Award Ceremony for Public and Civil Servants, held at the House of Chiefs, Secretariat, Ibadan, on Friday.
OYSHIA was honoured at the ceremony for its exceptional performance in delivering quality healthcare services to residents of Oyo State.
