The Federal College of Agriculture, Moor Plantation, Ibadan (FCAIB), has signed an agreement for the deployment of the Educore Exam Processing System and the remodeling of the College website as part of efforts to strengthen its digital infrastructure and improve academic administration.
The agreement was signed with Mr. Benedict Korede Afolami, Chief Executive Officer of Conntivest Technologies, whose company will oversee the development and implementation of the integrated platform.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by members of the College Management and principal officers, including representatives from key academic and administrative units of the institution.
Speaking at the event, the Provost of the College, Prof. Jonathan J. Atungwu, stated that the initiative emerged from ongoing discussions on how to improve the College’s result processing system. He explained that the existing system, which operates as a standalone platform, has become increasingly difficult to manage due to the continuous rise in student enrolment.
Prof. Atungwu noted that the need for a more efficient, user-friendly, and IT-compliant system led to the development of a comprehensive digital platform aimed at streamlining academic processes within the institution.
He further explained that although the initial proposal focused solely on developing a result processing system, the College Management later recommended expanding the project to include the remodelling and integration of the College website. This, he said, will create a unified digital environment for both academic and administrative operations.
Before the signing of the agreement, the Provost invited members of the Management team to raise any concerns regarding the project. No objections were raised, indicating the collective support of the Management for the initiative.
The Educore Exam Processing System will feature multiple user interfaces designed to enhance efficiency across the institution. Through the platform, students will be able to register and manage their academic records, while lecturers will have dedicated portals for uploading and managing examination results. Heads of Departments and administrators will also have access for academic monitoring and administrative oversight.
In addition, the system will facilitate the generation of key academic documents, including student transcripts, thereby improving record management and administrative processes.
The platform will operate as a web-based system with mobile accessibility, allowing users to conveniently access its services through smartphones and other digital devices.
Following its launch, the College plans to organize training sessions for lecturers, administrators, and other users to ensure smooth adoption and effective utilization of the system.
The deployment of the Educore Exam Processing System and the remodeling of the College website are expected to significantly enhance digital service delivery at FCAIB, improve efficiency in academic administration, and reinforce the institution’s commitment to innovation and modernization.
