The Oyo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has commenced its 2025 promotion interview exercise for eligible teachers across the state, marking a significant step in career advancement within the public secondary school system.
Chairman of TESCOM, Mrs. Olubukola Oladipo (JP), led an inspection tour of designated centers across various zones to ensure the smooth conduct of the exercise.
During the visit, she expressed satisfaction with the orderly process and encouraged participants to reciprocate the state government’s support with renewed dedication to duty.
Mrs. Oladipo commended the administration of Governor Oluwaseyi Makinde for ensuring that the promotion exercise was timely, stress-free, and efficiently organized.
She charged the nearly 3,000 teachers participating in the exercise to demonstrate greater commitment, punctuality, and professionalism in their respective schools, noting that promotion comes with increased responsibility.
The TESCOM chairman was accompanied on the tour by the permanent secretary, TESCOM Headquarters, and other senior officials, who moved across the zones to supervise proceedings and ensure compliance with laid-down guidelines.
The 2025 promotion exercise is expected to boost morale among teachers and further strengthen the quality of education delivery in Oyo State.
