Barr. Akeem Agbaje, frontline gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State for the 2027 election, has extended warm greetings to fathers across Oyo State, Nigeria, and beyond on the occasion of Father’s Day, acknowledging their invaluable roles in nurturing families and shaping society.
In a message commemorating the occasion, Agbaje described fathers as pillars of strength, guidance, and responsibility whose sacrifices often go unnoticed but whose impacts are felt across generations.
He noted that beyond providing for their families, fathers play critical roles in instilling values, discipline, character, and resilience in their children, thereby contributing to the development of stable homes and a better society.
“Today, we celebrate fathers whose sacrifices often go unseen but whose impacts last a lifetime. Through their love, commitment, hard work, and sense of responsibility, they provide support, guidance, and hope for their families. Their contributions deserve recognition and appreciation.”
The APC chieftain urged fathers to remain steadfast in their responsibilities while continuing to serve as positive examples for younger generations, emphasizing the importance of strong family values in nation-building.
