Ibadan Football Council (IFC) Chairman Mogaji Rotimi Alli has pledged a cash reward of ₦100,000 to Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) if the Oluyole Warriors defeat Tunisia’s CS Sfaxien in their CAF Confederation Cup clash tomorrow.

Shooting Stars are set to open their 2026/27 CAF Confederation Cup campaign on Saturday with a first-round preliminary fixture against the Tunisian outfit at the MKO Abiola Sports Arena in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Mogaji Alli, a long-standing financial supporter of the Ibadan-based club, made the pledge while calling on football enthusiasts across Ibadan and Oyo State to rally behind 3SC as the team begins its continental campaign.

The IFC chairman also disclosed that the council is working on a special support package for Shooting Stars, which will be unveiled as the club progresses in the competition.

Alli expressed confidence in the Oluyole Warriors’ ability to make a strong impression on the continental stage, noting that a successful campaign could help rekindle Oyo State’s rich football heritage.

He urged the players and technical crew to approach the encounter with determination, discipline, and self-belief, while appealing to supporters to remain united in their backing of the team.

According to Alli, the ultimate objective should be for Shooting Stars to go all the way in the competition and reclaim their place among Africa’s continental elite.

He added that such a feat would not only restore the club’s continental pedigree but also help revive the glory days of football in Oyo State.
