Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze has hinted he could leave La Liga side, Villarreal CF for a dream move to the prestigious English Premier League in the future.
Chukuweze has become a regular in the Villarreal side over the last year, also making his Nigeria debut in that time and becoming one of the most sought-after young talents in world football.
The AFCON 2019 bronze medalist, who was in July revealed as one of the 50 youngsters to watch in world football by UEFA’s official website, with a worth of about $33 million, has since been a transfer target for top sides including Liverpool.
“My ambition is to play in the Premie League , but I want to go to a club where I’m really wanted, where I will be a starting player. Both the coach and club owner have to want me,” Chukwueze told reporters in Uyo ahead of Nigeria’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying clash against the Squirrels of Benin.
