Former Manchester United midfielder, Owen Hargreaves, says Leicester City are missing the services of Nigerian midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi.
The Foxes hopes of finishing in the top three this season have been put in jeopardy with the team recording just one win in their last six league games.
According to the former Bayern Munich midfielder, the team’s woes can be attributed to Ndidi’s absence which he says was glaring against the Citizens on Saturday in their 1-0 loss at the King Power Stadium.
“Brendan Rodgers could have played differently, in midfield, they didn’t have Ndidi which defensively could have been a big profit for them and he would have protected the defenders but the players he used didn’t do that,” he told BT Sport after the game.
Leicester are third on the league table, seven points behind and 26 points behind table toppers, Liverpool.
