Coach Fatai Osho...not too happy...

The Technical Adviser of Remo Stars Football Club, Osho Fatai has said that his boys gave their best shot against table toppers, Plateau United in the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) but were unlucky.

Daniel Itodo’s long throw in the first half locates Hamzat Owolabi who calmly jab in the only goal to secured maximum points in the Match Day 21 of the NPFL for Plateau.

“Nothing went wrong, we gave it our best shot but we have to give it to the Plateau United side, they have quality players are they are table toppers in the league.

“We had to respect them but on our part we tried to come back into the game but we couldn’t and we have no choice than to go back home to see what we can do,” Osho said.

Osho, whose side are in the bottom of the NPFL table ladder further said his side moment loss of concentration cost them at least a draw in the game.

“We worked so hard but for us to have conceded such goal is very painful, we tried so hard to neutralise the long throw but a little lost of concentration cost us the goal.”

“We could have done better, the field didn’t assist us. We play possession football but the field didn’t make us play our pattern and it’s just unfortunate.”

“We will keep our heads up and keep fighting till the last day of the league.” Osho assured.
