How 10 Commuters Were Burnt To Death On Ife-Ibadan Road On Sunday, Plus Pictures

At least 12 people were on Sunday burnt beyond recognition in a ghastly motor accident that occurred at Moremi Estate Junction, Opposite Energy Filling Station along Ibadan-Ife expressway.

The accident involved an 18 passengers​ urvan commercial bus plying Ore/Ondo-Ibadan and a diesel laden truck with Lagos registration number  MUS 702 XH.

Eyewitness account said that the truck was making a u-turn when the  bus coming on a high speed rammed into it and caught fire.

Witnesses said the passengers could found it difficult to escape because the doors could not open.

Nine passengers comprising of six adults and three children died on the spot  as they were burnt beyond recognition.

Three of the passengers were rescued and taken to Seventh Day Adventist Hospital but one was later confirmed dead while other two are in critical condition.
