The founder and General Overseer of Living Spring Church, Pastor Femi Emmanuel has admonished advantaged Nigerians to always show concern for the well-being of the less privileged people in the society.

Pastor Emmanuel stated this in his words of exhortation at the launching of Temitope Titilope Ayefele Foundation, an NGO initiated by the wife of the founder of Fresh FM radio station, Mrs Temitope Ayefele held at the Music House Hall, along Ibadan-Lagos expressway, Ibadan recently.

He specified that no mortal will be remembered for the number of cars, houses, children or wives he has but rather, the number of lives he has impacted positively like the late sage, Obafemi Awolowo, late MKO Abiola, Gani Fawehinmi and Nelson Mandela who are being remembered because of the impactful lives they had lived.

While appreciating the convener for her vision to better the lot of the less privileged,  Pastor Emmanuel enjoined all individuals to support the course of the foundation in order to make its vision a reality.

In her remark at the occasion, wife of the former Governor of Oyo State, Chief (Mrs) Oluwakemi Alao-Akala described the launching of the foundation as a welcome development which should be embraced and given maximum support by all and sundry bearing in mind the level of hunger and poverty across the country.

While delivering his speech, the founder, Fresh FM Radio Station, Dr Yinka Ayefele, MON, who is also the husband of the convener of TTAF, stressed the need for individuals to always put smiles on the faces of the needy at all times as this is the only way they would be remembered when they are no more alive.

According to him, “whatever I have become today is what the society has done for Yinka Ayefele after the accident I had in 1997. Everybody, including students rose up to the call to support me to raise money to go for further treatment outside Nigeria. Apart from that, a lot of people supported me by given me food and I feel it is a way of giving back to the society. We have a lot of people out there that are in need. This foundation is a way of assuring such people that are in this position.” He concluded.

Earlier In her welcome address, the convener, TTAF, Mrs Temitope Ayefele disclosed that the vision of the foundation is to cater for the less privileged, the needy, physically challenged and the indigent in the society, stressing that the foundation will henceforth move round different states in the country with the sole aim of helping the people who are in need in order to make the society better.

She, however, implored well meaning people to look out for her foundation and support its vision as it seeks to abolish hunger and reduce poverty in the land.

Highlights of the events included award presentation to different groups who have contributed positively to the development of humanity, special drama and music presentation by different groups.

Other dignitaries at the occasion were the founder of Christ Revival Miracle Church, Revd. P.F. Owa and his wife, Retired Assistant Inspector General of Police, Tunji Alapini and his wife, Yeye Ibipo, Evangelist Bola Are, Project Director BCOS, Mr Yanju Adegbite, Pubisher, Parrot Xtra/PMParrot, Mr Olayinka Agboola and others.
