The Oyo State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Azeez Adeduntan and his counterpart from the Ministry of Agriculture, Prince Oyewole Oyewumi have charged parents and guardians to always give priority to their children’s education, as it remains the only instrument that can liberate them from future challenges.

They gave the charge during the annual end of the session party of Mahnatez International School, Oluyole held at the school premises on Thursday, 19th of July, 2018.

Dr. Adeduntan, while speaking at the glamorous event that had in attendance many of Governor Abiola Ajimobi’s aides, commended Hajjia Bolatito Adebisi, who is the Proprietress of the school and Senior Special Assistant on Education for complementing governments’ efforts by nurturing the future leaders of the nation.

He called on other well meaning Nigerians who have the wherewithal to assist the government to lift the burden of education which is too heavy for government alone to carry.

Prince Oyewumi urged parents to inculcate the habit of uprightness and virtues embedded in the Yoruba culture and language in their children in order for them to be good ambassadors of their families.

In her welcome address, Hajja Adebisi expressed her happiness over the achievements the school has recorded in the last six years of its existence; she attributed this to the tremendous support she enjoyed from her husband, Engr. Lanre Adebisi, the indefatigable parents and ever conscious staff of Mahnatez International School.

Grandma Adebisi as she is fondly called by her students emphasized that she will not relent in giving her best to ensure that the school continues to raise young leaders that will take up the responsibility, speak out and strive for excellence in their career.

While admonishing parents to ensure quality basic education for their children irrespective of gender, Hajjia Adebisi noted that all hands must be on deck to make education accessible to all and sundry.

Other dignitaries in attendance included the Oyo State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Seun Abimbola, Special Adviser on Education, Dr. Bisi Akin-Alabi, Mr. Adekola Adewuyi, Ronke Ajadi and Ganiyat Olawoore, who are the Special Assistants on Education, Health and Agriculture respectively and Alhaji Kazeem Ajala, Engr. Babatunde Azeez, parents and well-wishers.

The end of the session party was highlighted by cultural dance display, Taekwondo display, and choreography by the students of school, as well as gifts and certificate presentations to outstanding students and members of staff, among others.
