Hassan Giwa Commiserates With Ibadan Fire Incidents’ Victims

The Founder of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation, Arc. Hassan Giwa has commiserated with Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat and traders of Dugbe Market, who were victims of recent fire incidents in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.

Arc. Giwa, in a press release signed and made available to journalists, described the incidents as unfortunate, especially now when the situation is tense due to the ravaging Coronavirus in the country.

Giwa, in his message to the victims and the state government expressed his sadness over the incidents, and prayed for speedy recovery for the victims to a better future.

He commended the state government and its team of fire fighters in the Fire Service for their efforts so far in containing fire incidents in Oyo State. He urged them to double their efforts to ensure adequate protection of peoples’ lives, properties and valuables.

The office of the popular radio presenter, Oriyomi Hamzat, located at Monatan Iwo-Road was the first to be razed by inferno on Saturday, where equipments worth millions of naira were destroyed, before the news of the Dugbe Market fire outbreak was announced on Wednesday.

The HOGF founder appealed to the people to always be careful and be cautious when it comes to matter of fire. He urged them to contact concerned authorities immediately they notice any incident of such to avoid losing valuables and property.
