Nigeria’s Super Falcons eligible striker, Rinsola Babajide has penned a new mouthwatering deal with English Women’s Super League side, Liverpool FC Women despite the club’s relegation to the FA Women’s Championship.
According to reports on the club website, the skillful goal poacher, who finished the curtailed 2019-2020 campaign as the club’s top goalscorer with eight goals in all competitions, joined the Liverpool side in January 2018.
The 21 year old former Crystal Palace and Millwall Lionesses player, who was thrilled with the new deal, commenting on her new deal, said : “I’m absolutely buzzing to sign a new deal with Liverpool.
“I’ve been here for two-and-a-half years and feel everything is going in a good direction for me, so I felt it was only right to commit to the club.
“I’m in a privileged position and I’m honoured to be here. I can’t wait to get started and carry on the journey with Liverpool.”
She was a member of the England U21 squad that finished third at the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
