Demise Of Akirun: Muyiwa Ige Joins Others To Mourn

The son of the former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the federation, late Chief Bola Ige, Muyiwa has joined others to mourn the passing of the Akirun of Ikirun, Oba Abdulrauf Adedeji.

Muyiwa, a former Osun Commissioner for Lands, Physical Planning and Urban Development expressed shock over the demise of the Royal Majesty and sent his heartfelt condolences to the State Government, the Royal family, the great people of Ikirun and the progressive family at large.

“I express my deepest condolence to the State Government, the Royal family and the great people of Ikirun.

 Kabiyesi was a great Monarch who ensured peace in his Kingdom during his lifetime.

“An unapologetic Progressive minded Oba who attracted remarkable progress and development to the ancient town of Ikirun during his Reign”, he said.

The renowned Architect who described his relationship with the Oba as father and Son hinted that he shall greatly miss the father figure role the monarch had played but also take solace in the fact that he lived an honest and exemplary life and his reign as a king will never be forgotten.

“He has also been a very wonderful leader, a father, a counselor and a unique example of a Progressive minded Oba”, Ige Said.

Arole as addressed by admirers however prayed that Almighty God grants his Soul Sweet Repose and also grants the State government and good people of State of Osun solace as they mourn the passing of the Oba who passionately and selflessly served his people.
