UNESCO, FIBAN Set To Mark World Radio Day

United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in conjunction with Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria (FIBAN) Oyo State Chapter is set to celebrate 2021 World  Radio Day.

The day is normally celebrated all over the world on February 13 every year.

This year’s theme tagged “The Roles of Radio and Broadcast Media” is to be delivered by Dr Fola Akinosun, a renowned and seasoned educationists on Thursday, 18th February 2021 at the Western House, Parliament Building, Secretariat, Ibadan.

Expected at the event include Rt Hon. Debo Ogundoyin, Speaker Oyo State House of Assembly, Dr Wasiu Olatubosun, Oyo’s Commissioner of Information, Culture and Tourism, Chief Dotun Sanusi, CEO, Ilaji Hotels and Resort among others.
