Speaking at the command’s headquarters in Ado Ekiti, the state commandant John Olatunde Fayemi urged the personnel to discharge their duties with utmost diligence, alertness, professionalism and respect for human rights adding that the public are expecting adequate security protections from the corps.

He further charged the officers and female tactical squad to be more proactive, determined and committed to the corps core mandates and to eschew any behavior that is capable of putting the organization in black records.

Mr. Fayemi further appreciated the traditional rulers and religious leaders in the state for the existing synergy with the command, while commending the effort of some communities in the state for providing mobility support for officers in the local governments’ divisional offices in the state.

The Ekiti commandant, however, urged the public to provide the command with adequate sustained information that would enhance the arrest of criminal minded persons before, during and after the Easter celebration.
