Secondary school pupils who will participate in a debate during the career expo programme of Caleb University in Imota, Lagos State, on Thursday stand a chance to win N1.6 million.
The winner will get N1 million, while the second, third, and fourth placed schools will receive N250,000, N200,000 and N150,000 each, courtesy of partnership with Zenith Bank, Stanbic IBTC, EcoBank, UBA Plc, De Miller Farms, Fan milk, and Imota Local Government, among others.
Two thousand pupils from 100 secondary schools across the six geo-political zone, as well as a larger virtual audience, are expected at the event tagged ‘National Intellectual Development Programme 2022 (NIDP, 2022)’ at the multi-purpose hall of the university.
The event with the theme: ‘Stand Out’,would expose participants to 21st century skills which include critical thinking, communication, collaboration…, creativity, and consciousness, various career pathways, new opportunities and connect them with student leaders, scholars, statesmen and captains of Industry, including an Executive Director of Zenith Bank Plc.
