The Aare Bashorun Parakoyi of Ibadanland, Chief (Dr) Tony Aletor, mni, JP has joined other prominent Ibadan indigenes to felicitate the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba. Sen. Dr. Mahood Olalekan Isola Balogun, Alli Okunmade II on his 80th birthday.
In a release personally signed by the Aare Bashorun Parakoyi of Ibadanland and Chairman, Capital Express Holdings Ltd, he described the First Class Monarch as a blessing to the entire people of Ibadanland who has enjoyed God’s grace in the last eight decades.
According to him, “I am happy to felicitate Kabiyesi, Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Sen. Dr. Mahood Olalekan Isola Balogun, Alli Okunmade II on this auspicious occasion of his 80th birthday celebration. The 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland is a man of peace and a father to all.
“It is no news that Kabiesi’s experiences in academics, politics, governance, business and tradition stand him out as a blessing to Ibadanland. I am happy that our revered monarch has enjoyed the grace of God in the last 80 years. I pray that he continues enjoying the grace of God in his new journey as an octogenarian.”
Speaking further, the business mogul and 2022 Most Outstanding Friend of Ibadanland Award (MOFI) recipient who was installed as the Aare Bashorun Parakoyi of Ibadanland by the late Oba Dr. Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, Ajeoguguniso 1 called on all Ibadan indigenes and friends to continually rally round Kabiyesi for his vision for a better Ibadanland to come to fruition.
“May Ibadanland continue to be peaceful”, he prayed.
