The Association of Local Government Chairmen (ALGON), Oyo State, has honoured the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin for his unifying leadership style.
ALGON described Hon. Ogundoyin as a bridge builder, a rallying point, and a selfless leader.
The Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, who is also Chairman of the association in Oyo State, Hon. Sikiru Sanda, gave the commendation when he led a delegation of chairmen to Hon. Ogundoyin’s office, where they presented him a giant photo frame.
Hon. Sanda emphasized that the gift symbolized appreciation for the Speaker’s visionary leadership, particularly his ability to unite people.
He highlighted Ogundoyin’s exceptional leadership skills, evident in his management of the state Legislature and the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures, where he serves as Chairman.
The Association of Local Government Chairmen in Oyo State came to celebrate our Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin on the occasion of his 38th birthday celebration held recently. All the 33 Chairmen in Oyo State acknowledged the Speaker’s exceptional leadership qualities, and this inspired our resolve to present the gift to him.
In response, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin expressed gratitude to ALGON and the local government chairmen, reaffirming his commitment to serving Oyo State and striving for a brighter future.
