The President of Imole Women Network, Yeyeluwa Olanike Titilawo Babawande, has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful across Osun State and Nigeria at large on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
Olanike Babawande, who is the Yeyeluwa of Akola Kingdom, described Eid-el-Kabir as a deeply significant spiritual celebration that embodies obedience, sacrifice, compassion, and unwavering faith in God.
In her goodwill message she urged Muslims to continue upholding the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, love, unity, and peaceful coexistence, which the holy festival symbolizes.
Yeyeluwa Babawande also used the opportunity to call on the people of Osun State, particularly women and youths, to come out en masse on August 15, 2026, to vote for the re-election of Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke in recognition of what she described as his outstanding performance and people-oriented governance.
According to her, Governor Adeleke has demonstrated uncommon leadership through impactful developmental projects, improved workers’ welfare, infrastructural renewal, and inclusive governance that has positively affected all sectors of the state.
She therefore appealed to citizens not to relent in their support for the governor, stressing that the continuity of the present administration would further guarantee progress, stability, and prosperity for Osun State.
Yeyeluwa Babawande also prayed that Almighty Allah accepts the sacrifices and prayers of all Muslim faithful and blesses every home with peace, joy, and abundant blessings during and after the festive period.
