The family of the founder of the popular Teju Hospital in Ibadan, Oyo State, Dr. Adeyinka Griffin has announced a three-day burial programme in his honour.
The highly respected and influential physician died in July 2026 at the age of 80.
According to the invite made available to PMParrot by the family, the programme will begin with a lying in state at Teju Specialist Hospital, Ajeigbe, Ibadan at 12p.m and a Wake keep service at All Saint Church, Jericho, Ibadan, at 4 p.m. respectively on Wednesday, November 18, 2026.
The family stated that the funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, November 19, at All Saint Church, Jericho, Ibadan, at 10 a.m. adding that the celebration-of-life reception would take place on Thursday, November 19, at the exclusive Jogor Event Centre, Liberty Road, Ibadan.
The late Dr. Adeyinka Griffin, a golfer, was a popular medical practitioner and community leader whose legacy will definitely endure forever.
