Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, is set to headline the ‘Davido & Friends’ concert at the Crystal Palace Bowl in London on Friday.
The London show comes as Davido’s uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, prepares to seek re-election on Saturday.
The concert is part of the Palace Bowl Presents summer festival series in the United Kingdom.
Davido announced the event earlier on his social media platforms, describing it as his first-ever festival in the UK and his only outdoor show in London this summer.
According to the official Palace Bowl Presents website, doors will open at 3:00 p.m.
The event will feature Davido alongside several artistes, including Omah Lay, Black Sherif, Gabzy, T x C, Jazzwrld & Thukuthela, Ecool, Morravey and Boi Chase.
On Wednesday, Davido shared promotional artwork for the concert on his Instagram Story with a “SOLD OUT” banner, expressing excitement ahead of the London performance.
