Barely three days after the demise of Taofeek Oyerinde Fele, a leader of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in the South West of Nigeria, another topshot of the union, Alhaji Lateef Akinsola Tokyo has been rushed to the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.
PMParrot was informed by sources that the NURTW strongman and former chairman of the union in Oyo State is being attended to at the Accident & Emergency section of the number one tertiary health institution.
A source who craved anonymity told us “Baba has been receiving treatment at a private hospital before things turned serious this morning. He has been having running battles sorting out hypertension and diabetics.”
By Friday, August 24, in the evening, the NURTW leader was being considered to be taken to the hospital’s Private Suites where VIP patients are being attended to.
Our attempt to confirm this development did not yield any result because the spokesman of the institution, Mr Deji Bobade was not available.
Stay with PMParrot for update on this.
