The Hope Democratic Party in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Osun State, Mr. Wole Adedoyin said he would take serious steps to promote religious tolerance in the predominantly Christian and Muslim state of Osun if he is elected on the 22nd of September, 2018.
Adedoyin said this in a release made available to newsmen in Ilesa. Adedoyin pledged to create an agency aim to regulate worship centers and social welfare as ways to deal with religious conflict.
According to him, we will eliminate traditions and mechanism that discriminate against any religion. If voted in by God’s grace, our proposed Agency will regulate construction of houses of worship.
And finally, Adedoyin said he plans to review all religious based-conflicts that have occurred in the state.
