The Executive Director at a Non-Government Organization, Hope for Second Chance Foundation (HOSEC), Mrs Ibukunoluwa Otesile has been talking about her foundation’s plans to make children’s welfare top priority.
According to the social welfare, HOSEC is all about championing the elimination of violence against children and she has reiterated the foundation’s commitment to strengthening the right and protection of children in the country against sexual molestation.
The organization which is set to celebrate its annual third anniversary tagged “Together for one” on Saturday 15th May, 2021 at the IACD Library, Jericho Ibadan, will attract eminent personalities and important stakeholders to the epic making event.
Special activities lined up for the anniversary include ‘stage adaptation of the new game’ aimed at explaining the importance of positive parenting and sexuality education in preventing child abuse to be performed by seasoned thespians from the University of Ibadan’s Theatre Arts Department.
The event will also see to the production and launching of resource materials among other activities.
According to Otesile, “the organization based in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo state has concluded everything to ensure that there is compliance with all laid down COVID-19 protocols. There will be adequate security too”.
