He further revealed that the sector has been directed by the FRSC Command Headquarters in Abuja to intensify its campaign on the need for people to know the advantages of using crash helmet.

He stated that the use of helmets will reduce the rate of casualty in the state, adding that the command will soon organize public enlightenment cum enforcement for road users in the state in a bid to ensuring the effectiveness of the road safety campaign.

He equally stated that the command would be having a special patrol on every first week of the month to arrest road users who do not possess a valid driver’s license and number plates, while enjoining all road users to abide by all traffic rules.

“As far as road safety management is concerned, since I assumed duty on Friday 29th April, 2022, I observed a lot of things that are going wrong concerning the use of our roads by most users. We want us to intensify our campaign and to enlighten them on the advantages of using helmets”.
