Asiwaju Adini Musulumi Of Ibadan Land, Arc (Dr) Hassan Giwa has expressed his condolences to the family and Muslim community in the South West following the death of Balogun Mumini of Yoruba Land, Chief Rasheed Adesokan.
According to a statement from the Office of Asiwaju Adini Musulumi of Ibadan Land, Giwa described the news of the death of Chief Adesokan as a great loss not to his immediate family alone but also to Muslims in general.
While revealing that the death of Balogun Mumini of Yoruba Land has created a vacuum within the state and Muslim community in the South West, Giwa noted that the wealth of experience of the late religious leader will be missed.
According to Asiwaju Adini, “late Adesokan was among few Islamic leaders that organized weekend lectures/comparative programmes at his Bodija residence to propagate Islam.
“Chief Adesokan’s passing has created a vacuum within the family and Muslim community in the South Western part of Nigeria.
“I express my heartfelt condolences to his immediate family and the entire Muslim community in the South-West of Nigeria.
“I pray God almighty to grant repose to the soul of the former Captain of the Nigeria Army. I also pray for God’s protection over his family, friends and also grant him Aljanah Firdaus,” Arc Hassan Giwa said.
