The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) has warned its erstwhile National President, Honour Sirawoo, to as a matter of urgency, return all documents and property of the association in his possession.
SWAN in a letter dated April 17, 2024 to Sirawo by its Secretary-General, Amb. Ikenna Okonkwo, said the withheld property and documents are meant for effective running of the association.
SWAN equally highlighted the items expected for retrieve to include: Original CAC Certificate of SWAN, details of appointed patrons of the Association, and any other document/property/asset belonging to the National Secretariat.
The letter further reads: “You were ordinarily meant to properly handover these items with you immediately after the Triennial Congress on July 13, 2023 which signaled the end of your tenure.
“Due to exigencies associated with the use of the above at the Secretariat, you are required to make them available with the next 7 days from the date this letter was issued.”
