Emotional Agbo Replaces Amapakabo At Rangers International

0

Rangers International’s new coach, Chukwuma Agbo has described recent developments at the club as emotional after he was confirmed as replacement for sacked Imama Amapakabo.

Amapakabo, who won the Nigeria Professional Footbal League title for the Enugu based side after 32 years, was suspended and put aside indefinitely following a string of poor results; including Sunday’s 2-2 draw with  Zesco United in the CAF Confederation Cup play-off 1st-leg.

Reacting to the Flying Antelopes chance in the CAF Confederation Cup, Agbo maintains that Rangers will go all out for a result in Zambia on 14 April and work hard to improve their stand in the league.

The new Rangers boss, who worked alongside Amapakabo last season where the Flying Antelopes clinched the league title, described his former boss as a brother and friend, and this make this situation even more difficult, but ” it’s about work, and we must continue.”
