A Mack truck with registration Lagos LSR 120 XD lost control, Monday evening, in Molete Area of Ibadan mauling a man to death and destroying other vehicles.
One of the vehicles hit by the truck was a Nissan Micra taxi with registration number DGB 241 XA.
PMParrot was informed by eye witnesses that the ill-fated truck was coming from Beere Area of Ibadan.
The mishap which happened at around 9 pm threw the whole of Molete into confusion because the victim was mauled almost to the point of not being recognizable (see exclusive pictures).
A resident who spoke with PMParrot languished “Today is a sad day for us. Even though we are yet to identify the victim, we are sure he must have been coming from where he went to look for what his family will eat.
“We beg our governments at all levels to please make life easier for us. Most vehicles on our roads are not well taken care of. Many manage. This is not good for the society.”
PMParrot could not confirm the whereabouts of the driver of the truck as at the time of filing in this report.
