Four Chinese Super League clubs are interested in signing Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo in the January transfer window as the Nigeria international continues to mull over offers following the relegation of Changchun Yatai from the topflight at the end of the 2018 campaign.
The former Watford star has received offers from Chinese Super League teams and a return to the Premier League is being considered.
According to sohu.com, Shanghai Shenhua, Dalian Yifang, Tianjin Quanjian and Shandong Luneng are among the Chinese teams battling to sign Odion Ighalo.
Shanghai Shenhua recently appointed Quique Sánchez Flores as coach of the side ahead of the 2019 season and it will be a reunion of sorts for the former Watford boss and the Super Eagles star if the transfer materializes.
The game against Tianjin Quanjian in November could be Ighalo’s last game for Changchun Yatai as he does not want to play in the Chinese second-tier ahead of next summer’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The 29-year-old has exactly two years to run on the contract he signed with Changchun Yatai in January 2017.
