The Nigeria Police Force has buried Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations in the Federal Capital Territory Command, Mr Umar Bele who was killed on Monday during the Shi’ites protests.
PMParrot was authoritatively informed by police sources that the gallant officer was killed in Abuja while trying to be ‘civil’ with the Shi’ites’ protesters by giving them a lecture on why they should be law abiding.
One of our source volunteered “He approached the protesters and was lecturing them on why they should not break the laws of the land. Suddenly one of them brought out an AK47 rifle and shot him in the head (see image).
The officer was buried on Monday evening at Gudu Cemetry. May his soul rest in peace.
