Dr Yinka Ayefele, the Chairman of Fresh 105.9 Ibadan, 106.9 Ado-Ekiti and 107.9 Abeokuta FM Radio Stations has announced a donation of a brand new car to newly elected chairman of the Oyo State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Mr. Ademola Babalola.
Ayefele made the announcement when Babalola, who works with Fresh 107.9, and the members of his new executives visited the Music House in Ibadan, the Corporate Headquarters of Fresh FM.
The gesture is coming 24 hours after Dembab, as the new NUJ Chairman is fondly called, assumed office.
Apart from the new car, Ayefele also announced free medical insurance for all journalists in the state in support of the administration of the new administration being led by Dembab.
In a chat with PMParrot after the announcements, the new NUJ Boss said “Our colleagues should be rest assured that this is just the beginning of good things to come. Together with others in this new dispensation in the state, bonafide members of NUJ in the state will be seriously encouraged to excel.”
