The main reasons for the quick recovery of Oyo’s Governor Seyi Makinde from the rampaging novel coronavirus have been revealed. And the major one pointed at is his ‘good-naturedness’.
One of our PMParrotmen, who had a brief encounter with one of the governor’s silent admirers got an exclusive picture (above) that told the whole story of how naturally kind and respectful Makinde is.
The silent admirer, according to our PMParrotman, was quick to conclude that no evil will befall Makinde because he is a genuine man, a man who sincerely fears God.
Using the picture to illustrate, the silent admirer (who insisted on not being named but gave us permission to use the picture) said “Since I have discovered myself as a Nigerian, I have never seen anybody in position of authority as simple and down to earth like Seyi Makinde.
“Look at that picture properly, I am not the one in the picture but my friends. They said they were at the airport in Accra and they saw people looking at a particular man. When they got there to look, they discovered it was Governor Seyi Makinde.
“And what did the Governor do? He had an unscheduled stop in Accra while traveling back to Nigeria from abroad. He was sitting down like any other passenger when he saw an old man who could not find a space to seat. Being a naturally kind person, he stood up for the man to take over his own seat. It was those who knew him that applauded this gesture at the airport. This happened earlier this year.”
Makinde’s silent admirer continued “So, I will tell anybody who cares to listen that the Governor of Oyo State is a man who combines brains with humility. And he is now a high political office and he still keeps his head by maintaining these virtues. Very few people were given this kind of grace by God. So, Makinde is a man divinely protected. Coronavirus or COVID-19 or whatever you call it will not have any effect on him or his household. The people of his state will not be affected as being envisaged. Forget about whatever anybody says, Makinde is a special being. All should cooperate with him so that Oyo State will move rapidly towards glory under him”.
