Popular Yoruba Historian, Prince Adelegan Adegbola is set to launch a new book about the ‘Ita Akun’ Kingdom and the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi is expected to be at the event.
He stated that the book ‘SOOKO AWODEYI OF OGBORU DYNASTY will be launched at the Osun State University, Ikire campus, Osun State on Thursday, 18th March, 2021 under the Chairmanship of the Ooni of Ife.
In his statement, Adegbola described himself as a “Special Assistant on History and Culture to the House Of Oduduwa at Ile-Ife in Osun State”.
While stating that he has published many books on Yoruba culture among which are “Ile-Ife: The Source of Yoruba Civilization” and Oduduwa Heritage Magazine.
He equally stated that he is very committed to the cause of promoting Yoruba History, Culture and Traditions among others.
