The Oyo State chapter of the Association Of Local Governments Of Nigeria (ALGON) as congratulated and advised the new PDP national deputy chairman (South), Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja to use his new office to promote unity and fair play within the party.
ALGON described Ambassador Arapaja as a “total party man,” and urged him to enthrone internal democracy within the party’s fold.
In a statement in Abuja, Hon. Yusuff Sahib Oladayo, the state’s PRO for ALGON said: “We want to congratulate the elected National Deputy Chairman (South) of our great party, PDP, other elected officials, the other leaders of the party, the secretary of the organizing committee, Governor ‘Seyi Makinde and his exco members, the delegates and every member of our great party on the successful conclusion of the elective convention, held on October 30 and 31st, 2021 in Abuja.
“It is, therefore, our prayers that, the almighty God, shall direct the steps of the newly elected leaders and the other elected officials, in their avowed determination to enthrone internal democracy and repositioning of the party towards achieving the desired overwhelming victory at the 2023 general election.’’
