Swedish Allsvenskan side Hammarby have slammed a ₦3billion price tag on Nigeria international youngster, Akinkunmi Amoo.
The 19-year-old is making waves in the Allsvenskan. Last season he was a critical part of Hammarby’s setup, helping the former Swedish champions to a fifth-place finish.
The former Nigeria’s U-17 star was outstanding last season, and he has been attracting a lot of interest from several clubs in Europe.
The right-winger, who scored nine goals and assisted five in 29 appearances for the Bajen, narrowly missed out on the best young Allsvenskan player last season, finishing second behind Veljko Birmancevic, a player of the Malmo team that won the Allsvenskan.
It was earlier reported that the diminutive winger was linked to Rangers. However, the Gers are not the only ones interested, as Copenhagen also submitted a bid for the 19-year-old star.
According to Fotbol transfer, Hammarby rejected the bid from the Danish side, holding out for a ₦3billion fee.
