The President of the Republic of Ghana, Mr Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has again paid glowing tributes to the Pan African Writers Association (PAWA) for its contribution to African unity.

The President made the remarks when the PAWA Secretary General, Dr Wale Okediran paid him a courtesy visit in his office at the Jubilee House, Accra, Ghana during the week.

In addition to thanking the President for his support for PAWA, Dr Okediran also used the occasion of his visit to decorate the President with the medal of the Grand Patron Of Arts Award.

Although the award had been previously conferred on the President at the 2022 PAWA Congress in Nigeria, it was done in absentia.

While thanking PAWA for the honor, President Akufo-Ado assured the continental literary body of Ghana’s continuous support.
