A former Senator who represented Oyo State at the Upper Chamber in Abuja, Ayo Adeseun has declared that all the EXCO of the All Progressives Party (APC) in the state should be considered as ‘gone’.
He made this declaration while featuring on a popular Radio Show anchored by Isaac Brown live on Fresh 105.9fm in Ibadan and monitored by PMParrot on Saturday morning.
According to the vibrant politician “those calling themselves EXCO members in Oyo State will be removed. It is a question of time. We are just waiting for the announcement.
“20 percent of party members constituted the EXCOs at the ward, local government and state levels. They took control.
“We need to put in place holistic arrangements that will ensure unity in the party. There must also be equity”.
When asked about the role played by Senator Teslim Folarin, the gubernatorial candidate of APC at the last election, Adeseun said “He is my brother. He knows what he did. Together with his people, they engineered the crisis in the party.
“Our respected Chief (Mrs) Florence Ajimobi even intervened. They insisted that they would not accommodate others.
“We told them to go to the poll and, of course, we knew they would fail. And we knew we would take back the party and rebuild. We will also appeal to them to allow for fairness, unity and equity.”
